The Mac OS X operating system is preferred by many especially the people who are interested in photography as Mac OS X can give better support for photo editing. An application called iPhoto makes photo editing and sharing easy on Mac OS X. The iPhoto is a photo library that lets the user manage all his photos, edit them and share them easily on Mac OS X. The iPhoto application comes with various features like tagging a particular photo with respect to the location where it was captured, capability to easily search for photos and many more.
The iPhoto library however has few disadvantages that could result in deletion or loss of photos. The loss of photos could occur in the form of the library getting deleted or lost due to some reason or when the user accidentally selects the “Delete Original” option resulting in the photo getting deleted. In such cases it would require a good Mac Photo Recovery Software to restore iPhoto library and recover all the deleted or lost photos. It is however important that the deleted data is not overwritten by new data as this would result in permanent erasure of the data making recovery impossible.
Other than the issues related to iPhoto, there might also be other issues related to Mac OS X, which might lead to loss of photos from iPhoto library. This might include reasons like journal corruption or Catalog record corruption that deletes the photos from the iPhoto library. However, the iPhoto library can be restored using the iPhoto library Recovery Software which can recover photos even from the latest version of Mac OS X. The in-built View feature enables the user to preview the recovered photos before restoring them thereby helping the user to evaluate the recovery software
