Mac OS has originally known as the system software. Mac OS X take the place of “Classic” Mac OS, that is certainly compatible with only PowerPC processors from version 10.0 (Cheetah) to version 10.3 (Panther). Mac OS X is the most recent version of Apple’s Mac OS distinctive line of operating systems and although it is officially selected as simply “version 10” of the Macintosh OS. However, in most unfortunate situations, you could lose the files on Mac system as a result of some unexpected reasons. However, nothing to worry it is possible to recover deleted or lost Mac files from storage media with the help of good Mac file recovery utility.

You can find six significant releases of the client version Macintosh operating system and also the most current one is Mac OS X 10.7, termed as Lion. Mac systems, running Mac OS X OS, are inclined to numerous problems where lack of Mac files may take place. The loss of files on Mac system may take place as a result of various situations. That are differs from avoidable causes, which can be within our control, such as accidental deletion of files, deletion of files from Trash folder to unavoidable reasons, that are beyond our control, like files deleted by certain applications, files lost on account of journal corruption, and accidental formatting of hard disk drive etc. Few usual case scenarios through which loss of Mac files can happen are briefly described below.

Accidental deletion of Mac files: Suppose you have accidentally deleted the valuable files on Mac system and emptied the Trash. In this case, deleted files will not be stored in the Trash folder so because of this leading to lack of Mac data.

Catalog file corruption: Catalog File is a most significant element of Macintosh OS. File manager uses the catalog file in order to take care of the specifics of the pecking order of files and folders with a Mac volume. The catalog file is a data structure supplied with HFS+ file system of Mac OS. The catalog file nodes conserve the catalog files in the specific order and they are very helpful to find and accessing any file or folder from the Mac volume. In the event, the catalog file nodes are damaged or corrupted then you will not be able to find certain files or directories. However, this situation may result in loss of Mac data.

Accidental formatting or reformatting of hard disk: Formatting of Mac hard disk includes erasing of most files and installing new file system. However, accidental formatting or reformatting of Mac hard disk will cause loss in important files.

Anyhow, as a way to perform lost or deleted Mac file recovery, you have to utilize good Mac file recovery software. Remo Recover (Mac) – Pro edition software provides all necessary file recovery modules, that enables that you recover lost or deleted Mac files from hard disk drive. This software allows you to restore deleted, lost, or formatted Mac files from HFS+ and HFSX formatted Mac volumes. This tool also allows you to perform Mac file recovery from Trash. You can download demo version of Mac file recovery tool, which is find on net to comprehend software features.

On Mac system, hard drive can be logically partitioned into multiple units known as Mac volume. A volume in Mac system refers to either a full hard drive or a section of a hard drive, which is partitioned into separate logical unit. When the partition is a single drive, every partition is considered as a volume. For Macintosh operating systems, hard drive can be formatted with HFS+ and HFSX file systems. However, loss of data on Mac may occur due to various situations like accidental deletion of a partition or a volume, corruption of hard drive, and accidental reinstallation of an operating system etc. Nevertheless, nothing to worry nowadays there are plenty of Mac partition recovery software available in market, which helps you to recover lost or deleted partition. So in order to recover lost data you need to choose good Mac partition recovery software.

The situations such as corruption of catalog record, corruption of volume header, failure of Master Boot Record (MBR), journal corruption, corruption of Apple partition map, Failure of disk verify and repair tool, accidental formatting or reformatting the volume, and deletion of partitions after repartitioning the Mac hard drive etc are the most common reasons for data loss. Let us briefly reveal few important case scenarios in which loss of data on Mac can be occurred.

Volume header corruption: Volume header is always located in second sector of the Mac volume where as initial two sectors of the Mac volume that is sector 0 and 1 are HSF boot blocks. A wide variety of information about the volume is stored under the Volume Header. Volume Header information includes size of allocation blocks, a timestamp that indicates when the volume was created, location of other volume structures such as the Catalog File or Extent Overflow File. However, corruption of volume header may lead to cause an error at the time of processing the data from Mac volume. When this happens, Macintosh operating system cannot recognize the volume and leading to data on the particular volume become inaccessible.

Master Boot Record (MBR) failure: A Master Boot Record is the initial sector of a partitioned Mac hard drive. It contains information about how the Mac hard drive is partitioned. Master Boot Record holds a partition table, which describes all the information about partitions of a hard drive and it is also called as a partition sector. Anyhow, the Master Boot Record failure can be occurred due to improper shutdown of Mac system caused by power failure. When MBR fails, it will lead to data stored on the hard drive become inaccessible.

Anyway, Remo Recover (Mac) – Pro edition software will help you to recover lost data from the Mac hard drive which is lost due to above mentioned scenarios. This software provides you a complete recovery of lost, deleted, corrupted, or formatted partition on Mac systems. Even you can download demo version of the tool, which helps in previewing the recovered data. Upon satisfying with the demo version, you can go for buying the software complete version.

Hard disk drive is definitely an important portion of your computer plus it stores all data. Harddrive can be called HDD that’s disk drive, disk drive or harddrive. The info storage capacity of harddrive is given by manufacturers in MB (mega bytes), GB (giga bytes), TB (tera bytes). In hard disk you can store any type of file like videos, text file, photos, audios, word document etc. The hard drive can also be available that’s connected to a computer externally.
However in some circumstances, you could possibly lose your important files from a hard disk. Most of the time you can’t access files due to hard disk drive corruption. Then you can certainly recover files from corrupt hard disk by making use of 3rd party utility software. The files are also lost as a result of user mistakes including accidental formatting of hard disk drive. Formatting is nothing but erasing whole data from your computer hard disk. Still you’ll be able to recover files from formatted hard drive through the use of hard disk recovery tool.
Let us discuss a few of the important scenarios where your harddrive gets corrupt. Harddrive gets corrupt as a result of virus attack and improper shutdown of your system. If you turned off your system without closing open applications, after that your hard drive could get corrupt. The viruses can occur because of browsing of some third party websites and downloading contents from the unauthorized websites. The hard disk can also get corrupt due to power failure. If your hard disk drive gets corrupted, then all files become inaccessible.
Sometimes you may wish to format one partition or logical drive from hard drive, then you can select another partition mistakenly plus it results in your important loss of data. The file loss from harddrive can also happen as a result of file system corruption. If a file system gets corrupted, then you cannot access files from your hard disk drive. You can even lose data as a result of accidental deletion of files by utilizing “Shift + Delete” key combination and emptying the Recycle Bin. There were also some other reasons for file loss including defragmentation failure, re-partitioning of hard disk, partition corruption, deleted files bypassing Recycle Bin due to larger size etc. Whatever may be the real reason for file loss, you’ll be able to recover them by utilizing 3rd party utility software like “Remo Recover (Windows) – Pro Edition” software.
Remo Recover (Windows) – Pro Edition is a powerful hard disk recovery software that’s obtainable in market.

When denoting toward an OS, Windows is definitely an operating environment made by Microsoft that offers an interface called Graphical User Interface (GUI) for personal computers. Windows eliminates the requirement for an end user to should type each command on a command line by making use of a mouse to navigate all the way through drop down menus, buttons, tabs, dialog boxes, and icons. Ms Windows began to take over the world’s personal computer market, overtaking Mac OS, which have been created by Apple. The most up-to-date client version of Microsoft Windows is Windows 7. Windows 7 operating system uses the NTFS file system on data storage devices for example hard disk drive or CD ROM in order to manage the physical location in the files. Conversely, the files stored on hard disk drive can get delete or loss due to the fact of various data loss situations. Because of this user could become panic, there is however no requirement to worry because you is capable of doing deleted file recovery from windows operating system installed computers by means of good 3rd party file recovery software. These days there are several third party file recovery tools obtainable in market, that can help you to definitely recover deleted or lost files from storage media also recover deleted files after formatting the hard disk drive.

One of the most commonly occurred data loss situations on Windows based computers are briefly explained below.

Formatting of the drive with Disk Management: Disk Management is really a system utility, which oversees the hard disk drive along with the drives or partitions contained. Disk Management allows you to to undertake most tasks associated to disk without rebooting the machine or interrupting users. With Disk Management, it is possible to initialize hard drives, create new partitions, and format drives with file systems FAT16, FAT32 or NTFS. Suppose you could have accidentally formatted the drive with Disk Management utility and backup isn’t available. However, this circumstance may lead to data loss.

Data lost on account of partitioning errors: A Logical Disk Manager is often a disk partitioning utility software manufactured by Microsoft and Veritas software. With the help of this utility, you can view, create, modify and delete disk partitions on your pc storage device, in many instances a hard disk, but frequently a Usb memory card or other storage medium. It is supported in numerous Windows systems like Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, Windows Vista and Windows 7. Suppose should you encountered with partitioning errors while you are trying to create new partitions using Logical Disk Manager partitioning utility, then there can be chance to losing the information from hard drive.

However, don’t need to worry since you perform deleted file recovery from windows based systems if you take benefit from Remo Recover (Windows) – Pro Edition software. With the use of this software, it’s also possible to recover deleted files after formatting the hard drive or another storage devices like USB drive, memory, and portable hard disk etc. Download demo version of Windows recovery software to get fair understanding of data recovery software features and functionality just before purchase the full version software.

Hard drives are the storage devices used in the Mac computer and laptop to store operating system, system files, personal information, official information, audio files, video files and so on. Hard disk is an essential part of the system, which is used to store various kinds of data. Many interfaces support the hard disk drives namely ATA/IDE, SCSI, SATA, and PATA. Now hard disks come with the option of portability. It means data can be shifted from one system to other system without the availability of network. In olden days the data transfer was done with the help of CD’s, floppy disks and now it can be done with help of hard disks drives, and such hard disk drives are called as external hard disk drives. External hard disk drives are also used for the storage of data. External hard disks come along with the casing and USB support. External hard disk drives have high storage capacity as compared to CD and floppy disk.

If any data stored on the hard disk are damaged then it becomes very difficult to get back the lost data from the hard disk with any manual methods. In such case, you must use hard drive recovery software to recover data. Data loss may occur from any storage device, not only from the hard disk that may also occur from the memory cards. Mac file recovery from memory card can recover lost data from the memory card. Memory card is a USB storage device that is used to store data and it can also be used to shift data from one storage device to another storage device. These memory cards are mainly used in digital cameras and mobile phones to store photo files, video files, audio files, games, and other applications. While using memory card you must take care of it so that you will not lose data from it.

Some of the precautions you must take so that not to lose data from the SD card or from any other storage devices are

Do not remove memory card from mobile phone or digital camera, while you are transferring data from memory card to any other storage device.

Do not switch of the camera or mobile phone while transferring data.

Use antivirus software to protect your data from the viruses.

Use good quality power supply.

Do not turn off your computer while you are transferring data to or from the computer.

Always keep back up of all-important data.

If you lost data from any storage device due to formatting hard drive, formatting SD card, formatting partition, reformatting partition, virus attack, system shut down then no need to worry regarding the recovery of data. You can recover lost data from any storage device by using Remo Recover (Mac) – Media Edition software.

Have you accidentally deleted your important and confidential files? Then how to recover those files? Fortunately there are software’s available to recover deleted file from Windows operating system.

When a file is deleted from your computer, it is not deleted permanently. The computer moves that file to the recycle bin and if you want that file then you can simply double click on the Recycle Bin icon, on the desktop and find out your deleted file. You can restore deleted file using restore option. The file will be restored to its previous location.

If you emptied the Recycle Bin or used Shift + Delete key combinations to delete the file or if you deleted file using command prompt then the above function will not work. Don’t panic, yet those files are recoverable because those files are still not deleted. The computer has just removed the corresponding data entry of that file from the file system. The content still exists on the hard drive and the space is made available for other files. If the space isn’t occupied by other files, you can get files back.

Using good data recovery software you can recover all your lost or deleted files. The recovery software also recovers files emptied from recycle bin or those deleted using Shift + Delete key combination.

What happens if you accidentally perform quick format? Actually quick format does not scan your hard disk for bad sectors. It is done when your hard disk has been previously formatted and your hard disk is not physically damaged. All data will be lost if you perform quick format.

If you accidentally perform quick format on your hard drive and have lost all your important files, there are still chances to recover files. Quick format only rebuild file system, while the data area couldn’t be damaged. If you need to perform quick format recovery you have to use good data recovery software which will help you to recover your lost files after quick format.

Remo Recovery (Windows) – Pro Edition is data recovery software, which recovers all your lost files after quick format. The software also recovers accidentally deleted or lost files from the computer. The software apart from recovering accidentally deleted files from empty recycle bin, also recovers files from SATA, SCSI or IDE hard drives, SD, XD, MMC flash memory cards, memory stick, USB external drives, Fire wire drives and iPods. The software has the ability to recover more than 280 files on the basis of their unique signature. The software is available in the trial or demo version you can download the software and check for its chance of recovery. It also provides the preview option, using which you can preview your recovered data. User without having much technical knowledge can also use this software to recover their lost or deleted files easily. If you are satisfied with the demo results you can buy the full version of the software to recover your deleted or lost files from Windows operating system.

Nowadays most people prefer digital camera to capture photos. In digital camera, memory card is used to store captured photos. The memory card may be CF card, SD card and Memory stick. SD card is also called secure digital card which can also be used to store audio, video files and text. SD card is more popular, it consumes low power and provides high data transfer rate. Some people used hard disk to store large number of photos. Hard disks are available with more data storage capacity than memory cards. In Windows computer hard disk, you can store all types of files like JPEG and RAW photos.

However in some circumstances, you may lose photos from memory cards and hard disk. Most of the time photos are deleted due to memory card corruption. Anyway if your photos are deleted from storage media, you can use recover deleted photos software to get back all deleted photos. The photos from storage media are deleted due to two main reasons like human error and software error. Let us see some situations of photo deletion from your camera and hard disk of your computer.

The most common reason for photo loss from memory card is human mistake. Sometimes you may delete important photos from digital camera mistakenly. For example you want to delete unnecessary photos to free memory card space, to store new captured images. At that time you may be delete required photos.

Improper handling of memory card causes data loss. If you removed memory card without switching off the camera, it may result in memory card corruption and you will lose photos and other data from that media.

Accidental formatting of memory card or hard disk results in data loss. Sometimes in your digital camera you will get error like memory card is not formatted, format it now. If you press format button, all photos from memory card disappears within few seconds.

Your computer hard disk is also corrupted due to various reasons. If you turned off your system without closing running applications, may be leads to hard disk corruption and it will not allow you to access photos from corrupted hard disk

In digital camera captured photos are saved by writing process and it will take some time. If you try to capture new photo while saving previous captured photo, your memory card may get corrupt. Removal of memory card from camera during writing process also results in data loss.

Whatever may be the reason for photo deletion from storage device, you can recover lost photos by using Remo Recover (Windows) – Media Edition software. Photo recovery is very simple by using this software, because it has interactive user interface. It also recovers audio, video and photos effectively, because it has strong disk scanning technology. The software supports almost all types of file formats which are used in digital camera such as JPEG, TIF and PNG. This software is especially designed to recover media files. To recover deleted photos, first you need to download recovery software in your computer. You can also view recovered photos on your computer screen before restoration.

FAT is a file system architecture which is used in computers and memory cards. FAT is a short form of file allocation table. FAT is used in portable storage devices such as CF cards, pen drives etc. This is used in both Windows and Mac operating system. The FAT file system helps you to keep files in a systematic manner in your computer and hence later accessing of these files becomes easy. The different versions of FAT are FAT 12, FAT 16 and FAT 32. FAT 12 is initial version and FAT 32 is the latest version of FAT file system.

However the files stored in partitions using FAT file system are deleted due to many reasons. The deleted files can be recovered by using FAT file recovery software. This software is especially designed to recover deleted files from partitions using FAT file system. Before you start the recovery process try to understand reasons of file deletion. Some important reasons are explained below.

Sometimes the files from your computer are deleted accidentally. This happens when you are trying to free disk space and during removal of unnecessary files to avoid confusion.

The files are also deleted due to accidental formatting of hard drive. While formatting you may select incorrect drive to format resulting in data loss. Still you can recover deleted files from formatted drive using recovery software. But don’t use formatted drive before deleted files recovery.

Logical error also causes data loss from your computer hard drive. The logical error may be software problem or file system corruption. Therefore it is recommended to keep data back up to avoid data loss.

The most common reason for data loss from your computer hard drive is power failure. The power failure causes abnormal termination of system and results in data loss. Therefore to avoid such type of problems always use uninterrupted power supply. Also you can save files frequently while creation of files to minimize file loss.

The files may be deleted during transfer of data from storage device such as memory card to your computer. This happens if you removed the memory card during read or write process and due to abnormal termination of computer. The improper ejection of card leads to memory card corruption.

These are important reasons for your file deletion. There are so many reasons other than those mentioned above. They are virus attack, unintentional deletion of files and file deleted by Shift + Delete key combination etc. Any ways if your file is deleted no need to worry, because the file recovery software is available. One such recovery software is Remo Recover (Windows) – Pro Edition which is developed by Remo for FAT file recovery purpose. This software recovers all type of deleted files. This software is user friendly that is basic knowledge of computer is enough to handle this software. The files from partitions are also recovered easily, because it has strong built in scanning algorithm. Now you can download this software to recover deleted or lost files. The recovered data can be stored in any storage media like CD, DVD, hard drive etc.

A hard disk partition is a space on a hard drive that can be formatted with a file system. A user may settle on splitting the hard drive to organize data more efficiently or for creating a multi-boot or dual-boot configuration. Partitioning is done commonly while installing operating system.

Errors during partitioning, results in deletion or loss of partitions. The Master Boot Record (MBR) and optionally several Extended Partition Pointers (EPPs) are used to hold information about how many volumes present on the physical disk, and where they are located. Corruption in any of these may cause partition loss resulting in deletion of data. Other error that you might come across is “Invalid Partition Table” this is when you switch on your computer, the system examines the master partition table to determine what volume to use to boot up the operating system, and detect invalid information within it. This is caused by an incorrect or missing active partition.

A common belief about deleted partition among most of the computer users is that it is lost forever or the data present in it is lost forever, however this just a misconception. Deleted partition is marked as unused space and previous data still exists. Partition information is stored in the partition table, a reserved area present in the hard disk. When a partition is deleted, in general, only its partition table entry is removed from a table; and although the data is no longer accessible, some still remains on the disk until being overwritten. Operating system may crash resulting in disappearance of important files or a partition may miss out and user might not see the partition in Windows Explorer.

Deleted partition results in loss data or make the data inaccessible. Some of the other reasons that results in data loss are as follows;

Virus attack: Viruses can be transmitted over a network. They can duplicate from one system to another and can also replicate through storage medium. Virus may delete the data, in severe cases it may also result in partition loss.

Emptied recycle bin: you may delete some files and later empty the recycle bin, hence clearing the file from the system

Change in File System: In a computer, a file system is the way in which files are named and where they are placed logically for storage and recovery. Change in file system from FAT to NTFS results in data loss.

Recovery of files is usually a relatively simple process when compared with recovery of partition, since the size of the feedback is considerably smaller. Partition recovery involves the procedure in which the user must recover deleted partition or sometimes even a lost partition from his hard disk drive. All that we need to do is pick partition recovery software to carry out deleted partition recovery. While installing the software, make sure the affected partition is not used to install the software. Any further usage of the partition may overwrite the data and make it practically impossible for any software to recover it. Remo Recover (windows) is one of the best recovery software that can be used to perform effective deleted data recovery.

The Mac OS X operating system is preferred by many especially the people who are interested in photography as Mac OS X can give better support for photo editing. An application called iPhoto makes photo editing and sharing easy on Mac OS X. The iPhoto is a photo library that lets the user manage all his photos, edit them and share them easily on Mac OS X. The iPhoto application comes with various features like tagging a particular photo with respect to the location where it was captured, capability to easily search for photos and many more.

The iPhoto library however has few disadvantages that could result in deletion or loss of photos. The loss of photos could occur in the form of the library getting deleted or lost due to some reason or when the user accidentally selects the “Delete Original” option resulting in the photo getting deleted. In such cases it would require a good Mac Photo Recovery Software to restore iPhoto library and recover all the deleted or lost photos. It is however important that the deleted data is not overwritten by new data as this would result in permanent erasure of the data making recovery impossible.

Other than the issues related to iPhoto, there might also be other issues related to Mac OS X, which might lead to loss of photos from iPhoto library. This might include reasons like journal corruption or Catalog record corruption that deletes the photos from the iPhoto library. However, the iPhoto library can be restored using the iPhoto library Recovery Software which can recover photos even from the latest version of Mac OS X. The in-built View feature enables the user to preview the recovered photos before restoring them thereby helping the user to evaluate the recovery software
